About the show

Our Vision

A world where everyone has a loving adoption experience.

Our Mission

To connect audiences to the adoption experience in all facets of their lives.

The Anna Jinja Show is a 28-minute program that illuminates the theme of adoption in all its forms in our lives and how these shared experiences create who we are and who we are yet to be.

The host is an international adoptee with biological roots in Korea and adopted roots in the United States. As you can imagine, her journey and experiences as a Korean-American adoptee are multifaceted. Her experiences have included the pain of discrimination and rejection as well as the joys of self-discovery and learning to embrace all of who she is.

In fact, the show’s name is part of this journey. Her adopted parents chose to keep the name (Jinja) assigned to her by the international adoption agency, but because it symbolized reasons for being rejected — including being born in another country and looking different from those in her adopted family — Anna would not share or say her middle name when introducing herself to others...until now!

Entering her sixth decade on this planet, she has come to believe that we all experience adoption in our lives. We actively choose people, values, and dreams that shape and define who we are, and her hope is that through engaging with these stories, interviews, and creative content, we are welcomed home in this world, cradled in the belief that we belong, that we are worthy, and that we are loved.

So stay tuned, and you may discover your own adoption story.
